“When my husband and I moved to Sylvan Lake a year ago from Ontario, we only knew 2 people, our daughter and son-in-law. Our daughter quickly showed us around town and most importantly, toured us around the Nexsource Centre. We were so impressed with the community.  We went into the Senior Centre for information and to find out what it could offer us and signed up and became a member. We have made many friends here through various activities. I now volunteer every second Tuesday helping with the weekly lunch preparation. We play cards on Fridays, eat out with friends at the lunches and take advantage of the library. You can really be as busy as you want with activities at the Sylvan Lake Seniors Assocation . It has made fitting into this community so easy.”
